Generative Modelling for Rhino

Grasshopper is a cutting-edge parametric modelling tool which works with Rhino to allow a powerful and efficient new way of designing.
Changes made to the design are instantly propagated through all parts of the model, avoiding the need for repetetive redrawing with each iteration. Decisions made early in the process can be revised later to suit changing requirements, while keeping the work of later stages intact.

Manufacturers and fabricators are adapting, many are now able to work directly from a parametric model, so the link from a change in client demands to an updated set of fabrication drawings can be reached many many times faster compared to more traditional CAD techniques.

No other platform gives you access to the same power in such a user-friendly and intuitive environment. Grasshopper's clear graphical interface makes child’s play of methods that were previously only accessible to those with serious coding knowledge.

The simple and accessible editor means setting up parametric relationships is as simple as dragging components onto the canvas and dragging wires between them.

Grasshopper can also be used at a variety of levels.  Beginners can quickly pick up the basics of making parametric models in a day or two.  This can also be combined seamlessly with more involved scripts written in C# or VB DotNET, and live input and output of data can be made between Grasshopper and external programs.
